In our 20 years in the field we have dedicated ourselves not only to seeking the best quality, uniformity and beauty in the flowers that we produce but we have also sought to be part of the solution to the environmental issues that we all face. In Milagro we know that there is no planet B!
For this reason and because we want our grandchildren to inherit the best of our way of life, we have dedicated ourselves to creating a regenerative crop. A farm in which we can not only maintain our production for 20 more years, but at the same time improve our crops, our land, and more importantly ourselves and our people a little more every day.
Seeking this we have specifically developed two main areas, the environmental and the social.
In Colombia, 32 large hydroelectric plants provide more than 67% of the energy consumed in the country. Our commitment as a country is to get closer to generating completely clean energy. Milagro is part of this initiative, and we have decided to abandon the consumption of hydrocarbons as quickly as possible. Likewise, we have made a significant investment in solar panels, reaching 100% self-sufficiency in electrical consumption in a few hours of the day and contributing more than 20 Kw/h to the electrical grid for the use of farmers near our headquarters.
More than 97% of the water we use in our farm comes from rainwater that we collect and store for this use. During the year we not only store water for ourselves, but we provide some of our neighbors´farms. Likewise, we have closed water systems where we reuse everything that remains, guaranteeing that we only use the best quality water.
As we discover new ways to deal with plague using natural methods, we have been implementing them. Insects that prey on pests, beneficial fungi and bacteria, and environmentally friendly control methods are part of our arsenal, which is growing more and more.
we quit the use of products that are harmful to bees and as a witness we use hives which have been established for more than 10 years from where we get the most delicious honey and healthiest pollen.
At Milagro, birds are an essential part of both the landscape and the ecological balance. They play key roles in pollination, natural pest control, and maintaining the health of our environment. Through sustainable farming practices and the creation of natural habitats like water reservoirs and living fences, our farm has become a welcoming habitat for a wide variety of bird species. We believe in a floriculture that not only shares beauty with the world, but also nurtures a deep respect for nature and all the life it supports.

Due to the crop characteristics that prevent rotation, we have developed a composting system that when added to the soil allows us to recondition and improve the field naturally. Thus ensuring an increasingly better future for our plants.
